だいたい零年代前後の膨大な音源群からthe nauties(00s)とかけてnaughyにセレクト。
カッコええとか悪いとか、舶来もんの系譜とかは他の方々にお任せして好き勝手に突然変異していたミュータント時代。
ただあくまでバンドとしての表現を軸に、複雑骨折エレクトロバンドの異名もあった演奏の粉砕スクラップ&フランケンシュタインなリビルドや、ラップトップでのMiles Davisのカバー、各パートの演奏をMIDI信号へ変換させての電子音楽的アプローチもあるかと思いきや、意外とポップな曲も混ざっていたりもするトラック群に加えて、国内外のアーティストとのコラボやリミックスワーク、ゲストアーティストを迎えてのレアなライブ音源、スカムな小品から良質なギターロック、ドローンまで、支離滅裂な全23曲を収録。

Ce 1er mai était une belle journée pour sortir un disque. Le groupe d’Osaka Orrorinz (alias Orionza) publie “Different Shit, Different Day Vol.1”, une somme musicale qui celèbre 10 années d’expérimentations musicales au service de l’avant-garde japonaise. Ca tape sur des vraies batteries en live, ça sample la trompette de Miles Davis sur des vrais ordi en studio, 23 titres qui partent forcément dans toutes les directions. Mon dico japonais propose : “électro, fracture, broyage, ferraille” pour décrire la musique d’Orrorinz et je trouve ça plutôt juste. Des invités prestigieux : Death Sperms, Elena Lange, Frosen Pine, Daisuke Nimura ou Satanicponicultshop pour un album édité sous la bannière NuNuLAXNuLAN / neji, comme il se doit.
